
As a hospitality entrepreneur, you know that last-minute cancellations can cause unnecessary costs. That is why Koninklijke Horeca Nederland (KHN) uses a cancellation policy for courses, workshops and training courses.
These cancellation terms apply to all courses, workshops and training courses organised by KHN, for both open enrolment and in-company training, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
You can cancel a course, workshop or training course organised by KHN free of charge up to 14 days before the start date. You must send your cancellation in writing by email to khncursussen@khn.nl.
Cancellation and costs
If you cancel a course less than 14 days before the start date, the following rules apply:
Replacement
If a participant cannot attend, another participant from the same company may take their place. You must report this in advance by email (khncursussen@khn.nl). There are no extra costs.
This rule applies only to courses, workshops and training courses with open enrolment.
For in-company training, the client is responsible for the group and for providing a sufficient number of participants.
Cancellation by Koninklijke Horeca Nederland
KHN may cancel a course, workshop or training course up to six days before the start date if there are not enough participants. KHN considers participation insufficient if fewer than ten paying participants register up to seven days before the start of the course, workshop or training course.
