Become a coffee master with the Barista workshop

In collaboration with Brandmeester's, KHN Amsterdam offers this exclusive workshop where you’ll discover the secrets of coffee and learn how to get the most out of your coffee machine. After this workshop, you’ll be serving the freshest, most delicious coffee like a true professional!

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is perfect for baristas in the hospitality industry, aspiring entrepreneurs, and their employees who want to refine their coffee skills.

What will you learn?

During this hands-on workshop, you’ll gain the essential skills you need to work confidently and independently with your coffee equipment. Here’s what you can expect:

• Introduction to coffee: We’ll kick off with a fascinating overview of the history, production, and roasting process of coffee.
• Perfect espresso: Then, you’ll get hands-on experience brewing the perfect espresso.
• Milk frothing and latte art: Learn the art of frothing milk and the basic principles of latte art.
• Practical training: You’ll train with professional espresso machines with portafilters (no automatic machines), and master the essentials of adjusting, grinding, dosing, tamping, hygiene, and maintenance.

Practical Information

• The workshop starts at 02.00 PM and ends around 04.30 PM, including a short break.
• Certificate and discount: Upon completion, you’ll receive a certificate of participation, a handy coffee preparation and maintenance manual, plus a one-time 10% discount on our entire range.

• Members of KHN Amsterdam, Amstelland, and Haarlemmermeer: € 65
• Non-members: € 130
• Prices are per person, excluding VAT. Members will receive an invoice after the workshop. Non-members are required to pay immediately via the payment link in the registration form.
