Bhv – Basic training for Emergency Response Officer (1 day)

The bhv training is for KHN entrepreneurs and their employees.

Contents of the training

At the end of the training you are familiar with:

First Aid

• (Non) emergency First Aid
• CPR
• Working with the AED
• Burns
• Fractures and bruises
• (Cut)wounds
• Dressing and bandaging

Fire and evacuation

• Firefighting
• Types of extinguishing agents
• Various fire drills
• Evacuations

Course duration

Are you a basic student? Then you will receive an email from Edusafe no later than one week prior to the training day with a call to complete the e-learning program. Attention! The e-learning requires a unique e-mail address per participant.
The e-learning is a good preparation for the course material. Then you participate in the training day, where the instructor checks that you perform the required actions correctly. Are you taking the refresher course? Then you do not need to do the e-learning.

The training starts at 09.00 a.m. and ends around 16.30 a.m. (including lunch).

Certificate

If the results for knowledge and skills during the training day are sufficient, you will receive the Emergency Response Worker certificate and Edusafe badge immediately after the training.

Cost and payment

• Members KHN € 130
• Non-members € 180

Prices are per person and excluding VAT. Members will receive an invoice after the course. Non-members are asked to pay directly at registration via the payment link in the registration form.

During the Haagse Horeca Beurs on November 24 and 25, 2025, we will offer the training at a reduced rate for KHN members.

Cancellation

If a course is cancelled later than seven working days before the course, the following rules apply:

• For cancellation up to and including the day before the course, workshop or training begins, 50% of the course fee will be charged.
• In case of cancellation on the day of the course, workshop or training itself, the full course fee will be charged. This also applies in case of no-show.
